The Department of Hindi participated students (Nithin, I M A Malayalam & Praveen, I M A History) for All Kerala Maria Philip Memorial Debate Competition September 27-2019, on ‘Pay parity is Still a Dream for Women in India’ (organized by Xime: Shaping the Future Leaders, AICTE approved institution). As a part of the Debate Club, Hari Krishnan (S4 Malayalam) participated in ‘Heartfulness: Essay Event 2019 in October (organized by Shri Ram Chandra mission United Nations Information Centre).

Literary Club

Conducted a reading competition and literary quiz competition on 21st February 2017, mathrubhashadinam.

Conducted the programme, Kavisammelanam and sahithya churcha, under the title Dhwani on 22nd November 2016.

Conducted an Exhibition cum sale of books from 14th to 16th January 2017.

Moreover weekly Literary discussion of short stories and poems are conducted throughout the year.

Film club

Conducted exhibitions of world classic films  Rashomon, Battleship Potemkin, Citizen Kane etc.

Conducted debates on the topic ‘new generation movies’ and ‘Role of songs in the films’.

Conducted quiz programme on Malayalam movies
