Tourism is the second largest industry in the world, by means of its contribution to world GDP. It provides various job opportunities both directly and indirectly. Tourism in Kerala is going through a significant phase of growth and is considered as the major driver to the economic growth of the state. It is a multi-sector industry which provides both direct and indirect employment opportunities to people. As Kerala is a state blessed with natural resources like hill stations, beaches, waterfalls, forests etc., there is immense scope for development of tourism. The Department of Tourism, with the objective of launching a massive awareness campaign among the youth of Kerala decided to set up Tourism club across colleges and schools in the state.

The Tourism Club of our college is formed with an objective of creating awareness among the students about Tourism activities and to incorporate the student’s strength and potential in the development of tourism in our State also to make them responsible travelers. The activities of club always follow green protocol. Tourism club of our college is a place for anyone who loves to travel, explore and built their curiosity; a platform to share their travel stories.
