Science club inauguration for the academic year 2019-20 was kicked off by the welcome speech of Dr. Simil Thomas, Asst. Prof. of Physics and science club coordinator, on 24^th October 2019. After this, science club was inaugurated by Senthil Kumar. A, Head, Programme Planning & Evaluation Cell, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum in the seminar hall of the college. College Principal Dr.Thara G. S was presiding the function. Dr.Senthil Kumar gave a lecturer on “Indian science program” starting from the history of Indian space programs to the recent Chandrayaan-2 mission. His talk was motivating and followed by a lively interactive session. Senthil Kumar also introduced various opportunities for young students in the ISRO and encouraged them apply and find a job in ISRO. Dr.Gladston Raj, HOD, Dept. of Computer Science gave felicitation speech and Dr.Reshmy V. K, HOD, Dept. of Physics expressed vote of thanks for the function.
