IT_Club_Activities_Report_2022-23

Information Technology Club started in 2016. It provides several lectures, programs and specialized training courses in Information Technology. The mission of the IT Club is to create an atmosphere where students with taste of computer and technology skills can work together to enhance their academic achievements and experience through volunteer services, activities, and partnerships with local industry.

PROGRAMS ARRANGED

• Organized a software project orientation workshop for the fourth semester students by B+ training solution institute, Trivandrum on 1.12.2016
• Arranged an one-day seminar on Network security by the Network Systems, Trivandrum on 24.11.2017
• The workshop on Moodle was conducted at the computer science lab on 10.03.2017 and Mr.Reji of ICT academy conducted the session.  Twenty one faculty members attended the same.
• A workshop on Moodle for educators on 10.03.2017 in association with ICT Academy, Government of Kerala. Also planned to conduct a workshop on Linux and Open Office for the Supporting staffs on 25.03.2017
• Conducted a seminar on the Introduction to PHP by the White Oven solutions, Technopark, Trivandrum on 3.12.2018
• Conducted a project preparation workshop for the third year BSc (PCA) students on 29.11.2019 by the faculty of Trinity Systems, Trivandrum.
• A National Level Online Quiz Series on Computer Science  was conducted on 01 January 2021. This quiz was open to Students and Teaching Faculties. Participants who scored 50% and above will receive an E-Certificate on their registered E-mail.
