Bhoomithrasena Club is an off shoot of Department of Environment and Climate Change, Govt. of Kerala. Its intention is to protect our environment.
The first unit of Bhoomithrasena Club has started in Govt.College, Nedumangad in 2021-22.
The club, with 59 members from various departments has conducted various programs during this academic year .
After creating an office, a sign board was also placed at the entrance of the College.
The members have begun organic farming in the college.
Students have actively participated in these activities.
The third program organized by the club was waste disposal of our college premises. Two waste tanks were placed different places of our college.
The initiatives of the club has provided an open message for the
students to protect our environment.
Though the club is in the beginning stage, so many programs will conduct in future for the protection of our environment.
