Science_Club_Report_2022-23

Science club inauguration for the academic year 2019-20 was kicked off by the welcome speech of Dr. Simil Thomas, Asst. Prof. of Physics and science club coordinator, on 24th October 2019. After this, science club was inaugurated by Senthil Kumar. A, Head, Programme Planning & Evaluation Cell, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum in the seminar hall of the college. College Principal Dr.Thara G. S was presiding the function. Dr.Senthil Kumar gave a lecturer on “Indian science program” starting from the history of Indian space programs to the recent Chandrayaan-2 mission. His talk was motivating and followed by a lively interactive session. Senthil Kumar also introduced various opportunities for young students in the ISRO and encouraged them apply and find a job in ISRO. Dr.Gladston Raj, HOD, Dept. of Computer Science gave felicitation speech and Dr.Reshmy V. K, HOD, Dept. of Physics expressed vote of thanks for the function.
