ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2018-19

ED Club of Govt. College Nedumangad organised a Training Program on “Paper file Making” on 26/11/2018. The Training program was inaugurated by Dr.Mini I, Principal Govt. College Nedumangad. Students from various classes were participated in the program. Mubaraq and Sasikala, member of Sree Sakthi Mahilasamaajam were the trainers. Two types of paper file were taught.


The Club also organised a seminar on the topic “Digital Marketing“ on 28/11/2018. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Alex L, vice Principal, Govt. College Nedumangad. Sree Rajasekharan R H, founder Encryps solution Trivandrum, was the resource person. More than sixty students from different classes were participated in the seminar. The seminar included the group discussion, practical session etc.., feedback from the students about the seminar was also done. The program ends up by delivering a vote of thanks by Smt.Indurajani R, ED Club coordinator, Govt. College Nedumangad.

ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2017-18

Entrepreneurship Development club of Govt. College Nedumangad organised a “Paper bag making training program” on 10/11/2017. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Alex L., Vice principal, Govt. College Nedumangad. There were more than eighty participants attended the training program. The program not only helped the participants in learning production skills but also in understanding the basics of business and develop right attitude for becoming an entrepreneur. Mr. Mubarak, member of Sree Sakthi Mahila Samaajam, was the trainer. 3 types of bag making were taught. The program also helped the participants in knowing how small investment in this business can help them in income generation as this product is in great demand.


Craft Exhibition was organised on 8th March 2018. It got an overwhelming response by the students. Beautiful craft work made by the students was on display. Paper quelling, paper bags, wool work caught the attention of the visitors. The exhibition was held to provide a plat form for the students to display their talent. The students poured out their creativity and talent at the craft exhibition.

ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2016-17

As a part of ED Club activities an awareness program on the topic “Development of Entrepreneurial Culture among Students” was organised by ED Club in collaboration with District Industries Centre Trivandrum and Taluk Industries Office Nedumangad on 22/11/2016 at Govt. College Nedumangad. The opening session was started with a welcome speech by Smt. Indurajani R (Asst. Prof. of Commerce, Coordinator ED Club), presidential address was given by Sri.K.Vijayan, HOD of Commerce. The program was inaugurated by Dr.Alex L, Vice Principal Govt. College Nedumangad. Sri. Ramesh Chandran, General Manager, District Industries Centre Trivandrum was the key speaker. Sri.Arun J S (Nodel Officer, Innovation Centre & Asst. Prof of Heera College of Engineering and Technology) had delivered a class on the topic “Innovation and Start-ups”, followed by Sri.Gautham Yogeeswar (Asst. District Industries Officer Nedumangad) on the topic “ED Club and Self Employment Scheme”. More than hundred students from various classes were participated in the program. The program include lectures, discussions and video play and it was great experience for the students. In the closing session a feedback from students was done. The program end up with a vote of thanks by Sri.Sunil Kumar KR (Industrial Development Officer Nedumangad)

ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2015-16

ED Club organised a Training Program on Lotion and Soap making. More than fifty students were participated in the training program. The Club also conducted a class on Entrepreneurial Skills. Awareness about various self employment schemes were explained.

ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2014-15

ED Club of Govt. College Nedumangad organised a Training program On “Photo Frame” in the year 2015. The Training program was inaugurated by Smt.Krishnaveni, HOD of Commerce, Govt. College Nedumangad, Trivandrum.

Sree Mubaraq, was trainer for the program. 3 types of Photo Frame were taught. More than fifty students were participated in the training program.
